Pat Fontes

Pat Fontes’ vast knowledge of electronic music has made him a modern day tastemaker of the House and Techno sound. With nearly two decades of DJ’ing & Production experience on his resume under his belt, the former owner, manager and music buyer of the legendary Satellite Records, Boston, has built him a strong reputation.

Pat is responsible for one of Boston’s longest running underground house, techno, and electronic odditiesweeklies at Phoenix Landing Wednesdays. The night had many monikers over the years but was most well known as “Midweek Techno” with his friends Soul Clap. He has shared the stage with the likes of Martin Buttrich, Martin Eyer, Paco Osuna, The Orb, and Marco Carola just to name a few. His sound falls under the umbrellas of techno & house but has developed a unique sound all it’s own.

Fontes has released tracks on well-known labels such as Proper Slap Limited, Thoughtless Music, Prisoner Of Love, LW and Airdrop Records. We are very pleased to welcome Pat Fontes back to the Sunday Night Mass stage for the first time in well over a decade.

Andy Kershaw

Andy Kershaw’s contributions to dance culture and community over the years are numerous. Sometimes label manager, sometimes promoter, ALWAYS a DJ, he has been on a larger radar as of late, as a doer and community figurehead.

Andy is the co-founder and label manager of “3AM Devices”, a prominent contributor to the globally respected SF outfit,“As You Like It”, and resident DJ at “Slinky” – California’s longest running House Music campout. Cosmic Disco launched in 2017 and is his latest project – both a label and a party whose name personifies Andy’s sound: “From Disco to Techno, with all the House in between. Credit to the Edit.”

Andy also serves as Creative Director at “Vital Arts”, a non-profit organization created for the purpose of honoring the victims of the Oakland “Ghost Ship” Fire. The organization aims to provide safe & affordable residential, work and performance spaces for artists. Andy believes that reinvention and maintaining positive relationships, rather than resting on one’s past work, is the key to career longevity in the underground dance music realm. Vermont and New England scenesters will remember him as “Andy Kaotik” of Boston’s “Audio Dream Control” and the force behind the “Wicked Sky” open-air renegade events.

No stranger to the Green Mountains, Andy has rocked the house at many legendary events at the ORIGINAL Higher Ground in Winooski, VT for “Flex Productions” (Nexus Artists) and DJ’ed last for “Sunday Night Mass” and the “Abundance” (New England Electronic Music Festival) in 2003. It’s our pleasure to welcome him back for the first time in 14 years!
