Doctor Rick is a captivating group of comrades who just so happen to play instruments. Being together less than a year, they have an impressive number of original songs that keep crowds intrigued, excited, and always wanting more. Not to mention the fact that the Doctor himself will rip your face off with solos any chance he gets. The group of four started as just a bunch of friends, so their on-stage dynamic is unlike any other. They are constantly trying to think of new ways to make their audiences appreciate their craft while throwing in occasional jests from time to time. In the short period that they’ve been playing venue shows instead of grungy basements, they’ve opened for a number of acts including Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime, The Hornitz, Atlas Road Crew, Elephant, and the Michelle Sarah Band. Frankly, these guys just know how to party.

A torrent of musical energy, MELON delivers original tunes and an array of multifaceted cover songs arranged with original and improvisational jams. While MELON, a group of UVM students, cannot be placed within a single genre, the seven-piece band intertwines funk, hip-hop, rock, reggae, and metal influences into their repertoire. MELON has been slinging grooves to the Burlington underground party scene since the fall of 2015.
