The Deslondes are a five-piece band from New Orleans. In the time between the release of their self-titled debut and sophomore album, Hurry Home, The Deslondes have toured the world and drawn critical acclaim for their studied and inventive take on New Orleans country and R&B.
Hurry Home represents a sonic shift from the country-folk of their debut to a psychedelic, electrified soul sound, with a stronger emphasis on organ and electric guitar. The band split up songwriting and lead vocal duties among its five members, Sam Doores, Riley Downing, Dan Cutler, John James Tourville and Cameron Snyder, continuing its democratic ethos and musical versatility.
The Welterweights are a rock and roll band from Vermont. The union of singer songwriters Kelly Ravin and Lowell Thompson proves the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts. With the addition of Willoughby Morse on drums and songwriter Erin Cassels-Brown on bass, this band parties.
Original country/folk music from New Orleans
Esther Rose sings songs about love, landscape, living life bravely, and starting over.
She started a band in 2015, working out arrangements for songs she wrote while riding her bike to work in the French Quarter and adventuring though New Mexico summers.
Rose is inspired by the honest writing and soaring melodies of American greats such as Hank Williams Sr. and Joni Mitchell, and the community of contemporary writers and musicians aground her New Orleans neighborhood.
Rose played her first shows at the now famous All Star Covered Dish Country Jamboree, and now travels across the U.S.A.and Canada playing shows with friends and writing songs across campfires, cabins, and kitchen tables.
